Soft Research Project
10/1/2006
Background: Numerous modalities for degenerative diseases, that
are working in other parts of the world are virtually unknown here
in the US. Many of the so-called degenerative diseases are reported
in the Merck Manual as “disease(s) of unknown etiology”.
Many books and newsletters purport to have the Cause and the Cure
for a multitude of diseases. Research projects often have questionable
conclusions and the source of funds for a given project has been
shown to affect the conclusion or whether the project is even completed.
Often, data is not compared on an “apples to apples” basis – leading
to questionable conclusions – or conclusions that lead to
a predetermined end rather than a scientific one.
A simple example of this can be found in several research projects
that conclude that multivitamin supplements are not as effective
as raw fruits and vegetables. It appears that the majority of these
do not distinguish between Organic Supplements and Inorganic Supplements.
Or, one Organic Supplement is compared not to another Organic Supplement
but not to an Inorganic one. It should be obvious that there is
a difference and the difference is likely to produce different
results. However, if this information is not clearly explained
in the presentation of the data, then the public can be greatly
misled.
With enough volunteers, data can be accumulated, analyzed, and
presented in such a way as to significantly reduce some of the
broad “gray areas” in medicine. Ultimately, we will
identify those principles and modalities that are effective all
over the world with the objective of providing a basis, where necessary,
for scientific research in this country. Or, where the data is
conclusive, we will move for their approved use here as quickly
as possible.
A multitude of Medical Practitioners … MD’s, ND’s,
and others shout that they have the answer to the question of cause – and
thus have the cure. Some of these causes have some elements in
common with each other. One of our goals is to build a matrix that
can analyze these elements across “theories”, search
for commonality and variances, leading to the development of synergistic
models of treatment.
We need people with a variety of backgrounds – both within
the Medical Community and outside as well. Our hope is that with
a variety of views along with amassing more solid data, we might
move toward real results in the battle against degenerative diseases.
This project is not a short-term vision. Ultimately we see hundreds
of people involved and tens of thousands of hours invested. At
some point, there is likely to be some compensated staff, but initially,
with only limited funds, we see an all-volunteer network. These
are likely to be people who have had a bad experience with a loved
one, friend, or even themselves.
With the almost unlimited information available on the Internet
and a growing number of researchers with which we are in direct
contact, we should be able to work undetected by the large Pharmaceutical
Cartels until we have a real message. Our goal is to have funds
soon that will enable us to formalize the findings and even fund
independent research. Our goal is Results - not a Return On Investment
(ROI) – nor having some process named after someone.
We hope that you will catch the vision and join us in our “Search
for the Truth”. May God allow the Holy Spirit to be yours
and our Guide, may we be open to His leadership, and bold to follow!
We look forward to hearing from you soon.
